ABOUT

“I can just feel the love and all the time and energy that went into your beautiful progress reports for my boys. You did such a thoughtful and thorough job and I LOVED all the examples and descriptions.”

At Chabad Preschool, your child is offered a comprehensive curriculum that includes reading readiness, concepts in numbers, science investigations, social studies, music and movement and art experiences. In addition, we expose the children to a rich and meaningful Jewish Program consisting of holidays, traditions and the Hebrew alphabet and language. We teach our curriculum through developmentally appropriate activities and creative play. We are proud to offer a top quality educational environment where your child’s individuality is valued and nurtured.

“After having tried and looked at several pre-school programs, we finally enrolled our daughter at Chabad, and realized how much small classes and truly devoted and loving teachers can do for the development of a child.”

PHILOSOPHY

Our philosophy reflects current thinking in early childhood education and provides a strong foundation for all future learning and living. Each child’s individuality is valued and nurtured and the curriculum is focused on encouraging your child’s developing sense of self. Parents are regarded as partners in the important role of raising children to be caring, responsible and creative Jewish adults. Through holiday celebrations, social functions, parent conferences and weekly newsletters, your family becomes a significant part of the community. Chabad Preschool succeeds in creating a unique warm and friendly environment with caring teachers who are, above all, concerned about your child and shower the children with love and affection.

“We are so impressed by what you do and the devotion and care you have for our child. Thank you so much for inspiring him each and every day!”

CURRICULUM

Our curriculum is built on an interdisciplinary approach to learning. Subjects such as language arts, math, science, social studies and Judaic studies are integrated and emanate from a central concept or theme. We develop our most powerful themes from the Jewish and American holidays, family, community and nature. During the year, additional themes emerge which reflect the interests of the class. The cognitive, physical, social, emotional, spiritual and creative domains of child development are the cornerstones of curriculum planning at the Chabad Preschool.

“We just wanted to say a few things as we get ready to watch our second and youngest child graduate from the Chabad preschool. In all honesty, if you had asked us six years ago if we would be where we are now, we would have never thought it. Chabad wasn’t even on our radar, let alone one of our options for preschool for L. Now looking back at these last six years, there is no place that would have made more sense.”

FACILITY
